How do I add a new expense?

Tap the "+" button on the home screen, fill in the amount, category, date, and an optional note, then tap Save.

Can I create custom categories?

Yes! Go to Settings → Categories and tap the add button to create your own custom expense or income categories.

How do I set a monthly budget?

Go to Settings → Budget and set your desired monthly limit. The app will alert you as you approach or exceed it.

Is my data backed up to the cloud?

No. All your data is stored only on your device for maximum privacy. We recommend using your phone's built-in backup solution to avoid data loss.

How do I delete all my data?

You can clear all data from Android Settings → Apps → Expense Tracker → Clear Data, or by uninstalling the app. See our Delete Data page for step-by-step instructions.

The app is crashing — what should I do?

Try force-stopping the app and reopening it. If the issue persists, clear the app cache (Settings → Apps → Expense Tracker → Clear Cache). If it still crashes, contact us with your Android version and a description of what happened.
