Your Data is Stored on Your Device Only

The Expense Tracker app does not store any data on external servers or the cloud. All your expense records are stored locally on your Android device. This means you can delete your data entirely by following the steps below — no account deletion or server-side request is needed.

Option 1: Clear Data from Android Settings

Removes all app data including expenses, categories, and settings.

    Open your phone's Settings app

  2. 2

    Tap "Apps" or "Application Manager"

  3. 3

    Find and tap "Expense Tracker"

  4. 4

    Tap "Storage & cache"

  5. 5

    Tap "Clear Storage" (or "Clear Data")

  6. 6

    Confirm when prompted — all your data will be permanently deleted

Warning: This cannot be undone. All your expense records will be permanently deleted.

Option 2: Uninstall the App

Uninstalling the app automatically deletes all data stored by the app on your device.

    Long-press the Expense Tracker app icon on your home screen

  2. 2

    Select "Uninstall" or drag it to the Uninstall area

  3. 3

    Confirm the uninstall — all app data is deleted automatically

Warning: Uninstalling will delete all your data permanently.

After Deleting Your Data

Once you clear the app data or uninstall the app, all your expense records, categories, budgets, and settings will be permanently removed from your device. This action cannot be undone. Since no data is stored on our servers, there is nothing further we need to delete on our end.
